Right to Play
Casper Ruud has been a proud ambassador and strong supporter of Right To Play since 2018. The organization´s mission to use the power of play to transform the lives of vulnerable children is a methodology Casper strongly believes in.
For twenty years, Right To Play has been pioneers of a unique approach to learning in which they harness play to help children dismantle barriers and embrace opportunities in disadvantages communities around the world.
For many children, their futures are limited by violence and war, child labor, early marriage, illiteracy and inequality. They fight to attend and stay in school, to be treated with dignity and respect and to be safe. All this is part of The UN Children´s Rights Convention.
Right To Play empowers children to rise above these challenges and find their way back to hope.
Right To Play uses all forms of play, such as games, sports, dance, art and music to transform the lives of 2,3 million children each year in 15 countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
The children get playful activities that keeps them in school and out of child labor. It teaches them how to prevent life-threatening diseases like HIV and malaria and keep them safe from exploitation and sex abuse.
This also build trust in themselves and others after war traumas and teach them to make healthy decisions to ensure a better future.
Play is a language everyone understands.
When learning important skills while playing it creates lasting impacts for the children and will drive changes not only in their lives but also their families and their communities.
